"Coaching makes you a better footballer. I'm working with 5-11 year-olds and helping them master the simple things. The Academy coaches constantly tell us how important it is to do those simple things well, so it's a good refresh for me too."

Seb Baxter has been doing things well in football since he was first scouted for Cambridge when he was four. Now he's expanding his game. "My coaches have moved me from left back to centre back. I need to toughen up a little and central defence is a decent place for that. I'm handy in the air as well so it's a natural position for me."
After spending half of last season at the Nike Academy, Seb's noticed the step up this year. "There's definitely even more professionalism and commitment from the lads. And we're all much more aware that people are watching us.
"The coaches tell us that one of the first things clubs look at is your fitness. So they're always on top of us for that. But they're also helping me round off my technical attributes. I like bombing forward from left back and you need good ball skills for that. So I'm sharpening up for when I move back out wide.
