Sparta shock Feyenoord

Nine-man Feyenoord slumped to a shock 2-1 defeat to Sparta Rotterdam. Things looked good for Feyenoord when Andre Bahia gave them the lead on 37 minutes, but they were reduced to ten men six minutes after the break when Sekou Cisse saw red. Sparta drew level on 57 minutes through Rydell Poepon and matters got worse for Feyenoord two minutes later when veteran striker Jon Dahl Tomasson was sent off. Poepon was dismissed for Sparta on 69 minutes, but the home side grabbed the winner six minutes from time thanks to Kevin Strootman's effort. RKC Waalwijk remain rooted to the foot of the Eredivisie table after going down 1-0 at home to Heracles. Bas Dost scored the only goal of the game after 15 minutes and RKC's misery was compounded when Benjamin De Ceulaer was sent off 14 minutes from time. VVV Venlo and Roda JC shared the spoils after a 1-1 draw at De Koel. Morten Skoubo gave Roda JC the lead on 35 minutes, but Ken Leemans levelled matters just past the hour mark Groningen and Utrecht cancelled each other out after a lacklustre goalless draw at Euroborg. John Goossens' stunning strike earned NEC Nijmegen a 1-1 draw at home to ADO Den Haag. Bogdan Milic broke the deadlock for the visitors on 31 minutes, but Goossens netted a superb 30-yard volley to earn NEC a point.
