Ajax and Feyenoord march on

Ajax hit NAC Breda for six as Feyenoord moved second with a 3-2 victory over Willem II. Feyenoord's unbeaten start to the season came under threat when Said Boutahar fired struggling Willem II ahead after just two minutes. Jon Dahl Tomasson struck twice to turn the match in Feyenoord's direction but Bart Biemans equalised for Willem before half-time. The second half was much tighter before Jonathan De Guzman's goal settled the contest with a winner for Feyenoord. Ajax rose to fourth in the table courtesy of a convincing victory at home to NAC Breda. Dario Cvitanich set Ajax on their way with a goal after 10 minutes and the striker went on to claim a hat-trick. Jan Vertonghen and Luis Suarez had made it 3-0 before Cvitanich netted his second on the stroke of half-time. Kennedy Bakircioglu added a fifth just after the interval and Cvitanich completed the rout with almost half an hour still to go. VVV Venlo ended a run of five consecutive draws as Sandro Calabro's early strike propelled them to a 1-0 success against Heracles Almelo. Bottom club RKC Waalwijk suffered their sixth straight defeat as they went down 1-0 at Sparta Rotterdam, Rydell Poepon with the crucial goal on 12 minutes. NEC Nijmegen came from behind in dramatic fashion to hold Vitesse Arnhem to a 2-2 draw in the final game of the day. Santi Kolk and Claudemir Domingues de Souza struck for Vitesse before Ramon Zomer's late goal set up a nervous finale. And there was still time for Arek Radomski to find an equaliser in the 90th minute.
