Feyenoord's unbeaten start to the season came under threat when Said Boutahar fired struggling
Willem II ahead after just two minutes.
Jon Dahl Tomasson struck twice to turn the match in Feyenoord's direction but Bart Biemans equalised for Willem before half-time.
The second half was much tighter before Jonathan De Guzman's goal settled the contest with a winner for Feyenoord.

Dario Cvitanich set Ajax on their way with a goal after 10 minutes and the striker went on to claim a hat-trick.
Jan Vertonghen and Luis Suarez had made it 3-0 before Cvitanich netted his second on the stroke of half-time.
