AZ and Feyenoord secure home wins

AZ Alkmaar got the better of struggling Ado Den Haag while Feyenoord edged past Willem II. Dick Advocaat claimed his first win as AZ Alkmaar boss as the defending champions easily saw off struggling ADO Den Haag. Rasmus Elm opened the scoring with only 10 minutes on the clock with a close-range effort. The points were all but secure when Sebastien Pocognoli doubled their advantage before Maarten Martens rounded off the win late on. Feyenoord have cemented their spot in fourth place with a 1-0 success over relegation-threatened Willem II. Sekou Cisse's effort on 12 minutes proved to be the match-winning goal as his side moved to within a point of third-placed Ajax. RKC Waalwijk secured just their third league win of the season with an emphatic 4-1 home success over Sparta Rotterdam. The was effectively over before half-time with the home side racing into a 3-0 lead thanks to efforts from Derk Boerrigter (2) and Kemy Agustien. Fred Benson extended their advantage within minutes of the re-start although Sparta had the final say with substitute Joshua John netting.
