Bristol Rovers have taken up an option to extend Fabian Broghammer's contract for a further year.
The 23-year-old German winger made 38 appearances last season and will now stay at the Memorial Ground for the 2013/14 campaign. "Last season would have stood him in good stead," manager John Ward told BBC Radio Bristol. "Fabian enjoyed it but found it tough. He's certainly got talent and has got something exciting, so hopefully he can reproduce that."
