Bell plays down Brewers loss

Lee Bell insists Burton's confidence is unshaken following Saturday's 3-0 defeat to Bristol Rovers.

It was the Brewers' first loss in eight matches but they remain third in League Two after the sides below them failed to capitalise on the slip up. Bell, who has been captaining the side in the absence of Zander Diamond, does not expect them to produce a repeat performance too many times before the end of the season. "I felt we were never going to lose. I felt that confident and I feel the same here. I just don't see us losing many football matches," he told the Derby Telegraph. "That doesn't mean I'm saying we're better than everyone else, it's just the feeling of confidence you get from winning games. "Maybe it's the little kick up the backside we need to remind us what we have to do. We'll bounce back, we'll work hard. "People weren't expecting us to be doing as well as we are and what we'll do is keep proving people wrong all the time."
