Plymouth boss Carl Fletcher has confirmed the club are trying to sign trialist Andres Gurrieri ahead of the upcoming season.
The 23-year-old Argentinian midfielder, who played in League Two with Burton last season, has featured in Argyle's last two friendlies and will become the club's first-ever South American player should he sign. Gurrieri looked set to join Plymouth last year having featured heavily in then-manager Peter Reid's pre-season preparations, however he was prevented from signing a deal due to the club's administration. Fletcher told the Argyle's official website: "We're looking to bring him in so we'll see how that goes. "Hopefully, we can get something signed and sealed. We'd like to keep him here."
