Hamburg have announced the capture of Croatian international midfielder Ivo Ilicevic on a four-year deal.
According to German media, the Bundesliga outfit will pay in the region of four million euros (£3.54m) for the 24-year-old, whose contract at Kaiserslautern was due to expire next summer.
His arrival at the Imtech Arena comes after Dutch midfielder Eljero Elia departed the club, signing a four-year contract with Italian Serie A side Juventus.
Ilicevic has secured his switch after scoring 10 goals in 55 matches for Kaiserslautern.
