The agent of Frankfurt full-back Georgios Tzavellas has denied he is engineering a move to Augsburg.

Greece international would not be allowed to leave on loan by Frankfurt

The agent of Eintracht Frankfurt full-back Georgios Tzavellas has denied that he is trying to engineer a move to Augsburg. Bundesliga new-boys Augsburg are reported to want the Greece international, who is under contract until 2013, to strengthen their squad ahead of what promises to be a difficult season. At the same time, Tzavellas, 23, is rumoured to want to leave Frankfurt following their relegation from the top flight. But his agent, Paul Koutsoliakos, told BILD when asked if he was discussing a move to Augsburg: "There is simply no truth in this." Eintracht Frankfurt general manager Bruno Hubner added: "We would refuse to accept any loan arrangements in this respect as something like this would just postpone a permanent transfer for the player. We would be in the same situation in 12 months." The 2011/12 campaign will be Augsburg's first in the Bundesliga and last week manager Jos Luhukay was offered a vote of confidence from chairman Walther Seinsch. Seinsch told Die Welt: "Jos Luhukay can lose every match of the new season, we will not sack him. He is a very qualified manager."
