Macclesfield midfielder Paul Bolland has turned down a new deal, instead joining Blue Square Bet Premier side Mansfield.
The club's players' player of the season spent two years with the Silkmen but failed to agree fresh terms with the club and has now penned a two-year deal at Field Mill. Bolland made almost 70 appearances for Macclesfield, netting three times, and hopes to achieve promotion with his new club. "You only have to look around the place to know that it should be in the Football League and that's what we'll all be working hard to try and achieve," Bolland told Mansfield's official website.
