Dutch international Klaas-Jan Huntelaar insists he has no plans to leave Schalke this summer.
It has been speculated that the striker wants to quit this season's UEFA Champions League semi-finalists just 12 months after arriving from AC Milan.
Despite their European achievements, Schalke have struggled domestically and they sit 14th in the Bundesliga ahead of Saturday's final game of the season at Cologne.
That means they will not return to the Champions League in 2010/11, but Huntelaar does not want to quit the club.
He told
BILD: "I do not want to leave. We are not playing in the UEFA Champions League next season, of course, but I am to stay on at Schalke.

"We are all responsible for the results this season, for all those ups and downs. I am responsible as well."
Huntelaar is contracted to Schalke until June 2013 and has netted eight goals in 23 Bundesliga appearances.
Meanwhile, Hoffenheim goalkeeper Tom Starke has rejected rumours he could be set to join Schalke if Manuel Neuer moves to Bayern Munich.
Starke told
Sportinformationsdienst: "Being of interest for a good club is always flattering.
"Schalke is definitely not a bad destination. Anyway, I am contracted to Hoffenheim and I have decided in favour of Hoffenheim. I am staying on here."
Schalke are also battling with arch-rivals Borussia Dortmund for the signing of Auxerre's Ireneusz Jelen, according to the Poland international's agent.
