Roma have been dealt a blow with the news that defender Nicolas Burdisso has been hit with a two-match ban following his red card against Cagliari. Burdisso, who joined the Italian capital club from Inter Milan in the summer, was given his marching orders in the first half of Saturday's 5-1 defeat for a bad tackle on Cagliari's Daniele Conti. The Argentina international will miss Sunday's game against Bologna and the trip to Brescia but will return to action when Roma host champions Inter later this month. Roma remain winless two games into the Serie A season, while they kick their UEFA Champions League quest off on Wednesday against last season's runner-up Bayern Munich. Burdisso, 29, will be available for the game at the Allianz Arena.
