Two late goals helped Lincoln overcome a poor Barnet side 2-0 at Sincil bank.
Shotless and pointless
Lincoln grabbed two late goals to earn their first league victory of the season as they beat Barnet 2-0.
The Imps struggled to create chances early on but went close in the 12th minute when a long-range shot from Paul Green was met by an excellent save from Barnet keeper Ran Kadoch.
Kadoch limped off before half time with a thigh injury and the game appeared to be heading for a goalless draw until midway through the second half when Lincoln introduced substitute Adrian Patulea for his league debut.
The Romanian immediately brought some life to the Lincoln attack and combined with fellow sub Lenell John-Lewis to set up a 75th minute tap-in for Dany N'Guessan.
Lincoln kept pushing forward and were rewarded with a second goal two minutes from time when N'Guessan had a shot blocked and Patulea completed a fairytale debut by firing home.
Barnet, who have now lost all five league games, failed to manage a single shot on target.
