Leyton Orient v Walsall preview

Image: Scott Cuthbert: Expected to miss out

Team news for Saturday afternoon's League One clash between Leyton Orient and Walsall at Brisbane Road.

League leaders Orient have been hit by a sudden spate of injuries as they attempt to make it nine wins out of nine this weekend. Boss Russell Slade has named the same starting line-up for seven successive league matches, but now looks certain to be forced into changes. Scott Cuthbert is set to miss out with a hip injury and fellow defender Mathieu Baudry, who played with a bandaged head in the 2-0 win at Brentford on Monday, now has an infection in the cut above his eye and will be assessed. Striker Shaun Batt, who climbed off the bench to score his fifth goal in four appearances at Griffin Park, is a doubt with a virus and Bournemouth loanee Jayden Stockley is expected to miss out with a knee injury. Craig Westcarr and Ashley Hemmings are pushing for recalls as Walsall aim to end Leyton Orient's 100 per cent start to the League One season. The attacking duo were rested to the bench for last weekend's 1-1 draw with Rotherham after manager Dean Smith had previously kept faith with an unchanged side for back-to-back wins against Crewe and Wolves. Romaine Sawyers and James Baxendale were the two players to come in and the pair look set to return to the bench at Brisbane Road. Boss Smith has no injury or suspension concerns to contend with.
