Sevilla boosted their bid for a European hopes after climbing back into the top 10 of La Liga with a 3-0 victory at Granada on Monday night.
Spain international Alvaro Negredo gave Sevilla a half-time lead and Manu del Moral added two more after the break as Michel's side recorded their second 3-0 away win in five days having also downed Racing Santander by the same scoreline on Thursday.
The victory sees Sevilla, who have had a disappointing campaign to date, move level with eighth-placed Atletico Madrid on 39 points, eight adrift of fourth-placed Malaga and four behind Osasuna in sixth.
Granada, in contrast, are struggling at the wrong end of the table and they are now just six points above the relegation zone after slumping to their fifth defeat in six games.
Sevilla broke the deadlock on 39 minutes when Negredo slotted home from Jose Antonio Reyes' pass.
Negredo turned provider for the second goal on 54 minutes with a cross in from the left that Manu slotted into the bottom corner of the net.
Manu notched his second goal of the night three minutes into stoppage time to seal the victory.
