Darlington overcame the early dismissal of Stephen Foster to beat Lincoln 2-0 and stay top.
Hatch and Foran strike for Darlington
Ten-man Darlington overcame the early dismissal of Stephen Foster to remain top of the League Two table with a 2-0 victory over Lincoln.
Foster was shown a straight red for dissent after a foul on Lee Frecklington but Darlington reorganised and showed their battling qualities.
The closest Lincoln came before the break was an Adrian Patulea shot from the edge of the area that went wide as they struggled to break down the resolute Darlington defence.
Liam Hatch gave Darlington the lead moments after half-time when he latched on to Richie Foran's cross to turn the ball home.
Foran then turned goalscorer to seal the points with a long-range strike in injury time.
