Two goals each from strikers Rickie Lambert and Darryl Duffy left woeful Hereford in tatters and secured a thumping 6-1 victory for Bristol Rovers.
Duffy capitalised on a defensive slip to fire the opener after three minutes and Lambert doubled the advantage three minutes later with a superb curling shot from 30 yards.
Lambert then teed up Duffy to score with a 22nd-minute drive and a minute after the interval Jeff Hughes added a left-footed rocket.
Lambert and Chris Lines netted from 25-yard free-kicks on 77 and 88 to complete the rout.
Steve Guinan grabbed Hereford's injury-time consolation.
